Broncolor RFS2.1 Transmitter Kit (36.133.00)
Broncolor RFS 2.1 Radio Transceiver Transmitter Kit (36.133.00)
The new Broncolor RFS 2.1 system replaces earlier infrared release systems and the synchronous cable. Easy to handle, lightweight, and compatible with all RFS 2 units. Minimal power consumption and independent operability at 99 workstations with up to 99 studio addresses, thanks to digitally coded channels. These are just a few advantages of this radio system.
Roughly the size of a matchbox, the lightweight RFS 2 Transceiver measures (L x W x H) 68 x 38.5 x 25 mm (2.7 x 1.5 x 1 inch), and weighs just 43 g (35 oz). It slides into the hot shoe of the camera. The flash is synchronised either via the central contact of the hot shoe or via a short connection cable to the camera. The miniature transceiver has 40 digitally coded channels for selective and wireless flash triggering as well as a test button for direct triggering. The operating status of the transceiver and the selected channel are indicated on a large LCD display. Two additional buttons allow the remote regulation of the power of all controlled flash units directly from the transceiver.

Outdoors or in large halls, the operating distance of the broncolor RFS 2.1 is up to 200 m (656 ft), in closed rooms up to 50 m (164 ft). The delay time is less than 400 µs. The operating status of the transceiver and the selected channel are indicated on a large LCD display. Two additional buttons allow the remote regulation of the power of all controlled flash units directly from the transceiver.
Radio transmitter with 99 studio addresses and 40 digitally coded frequency channels for wireless triggering of broncolor flash units equipped with a RFS 2 interface. For triggering other units a receiver RFS 2.1(art. no. 36.134.00) is needed.
It has a solid plastic housing and is provided with a hot shoe and a sync socket. The LCD display gives information on all relevant settings. Synchronization of the flash takes place via the central contact of the hot shoe or the sync connector of the camera. The operational distance for power packs and monolights outdoors is up to 200 m, in closed rooms up to 50 m. The delay of transmission is 400s. The transmitter is provided with a test button for direct flash triggering, one button for setting additional options as well as two buttons only for power regulation of all radio-controlled flash units in 1/1 or 1/10 f-stop intervals.

Broncolor flash units, which are equipped with an integrated RFS 2 interface, can be remote-controlled with this transmitter. Also broncolor power packs and units of other brands can be triggered via a receiver RFS 2 (art. no.36.134.00).
The transmitter RFS 2.1 is ideal for use in the studio as well as for outdoor photography. Its enormous range is very advantageous for operation in large studios, on location and in studios with non-reflective walls. Thanks to its digitally coded frequency channels, independent shooting from several work stations in the same room is possible, without any interference between the flash units. The flash power can be easily regulated from the camera. The illuminated LCD display shows all relevant settings at a glance.
