This Profoto Clear Glass Cover is specifically used for creating a 'cooler' bluer light of approximately 5900 Kelvin, but it's actual intended use is for the Profoto Hardbox found here. When purchasing the Hardbox you will require this Clear Glass Dome for the Hardbox accessory to perform correctly, thus allowing you to obtain the sharpest and hardest shadow definition possible. Without this the edge definition from the Hardbox will be inferior.

Extra-thick and extra-long clear glass cover for the ProHead, ProTwin, Acute/D4 Head and Acute/D4 Twin. The extended 100 mm length allows it to fit on heads with modeling lamps up to 500W.

The Clear Glass Dome gives a harder, crisper light effect compared with a standard frosted Glass Cover.
