Aputure Spotlight Mount Gobo Holder

The Aputure Spotlight Mount Gobo Holder is a replacement or additional gobo holder designed for use with the original Aputure Spotlight Mount projection system. It allows photographers, filmmakers and lighting technicians to introduce patterns, textures and shapes into a scene using standard B-size gobos.

Used with the Spotlight Mount, a gobo can transform a straightforward LED fixture into a much more creative and precise lighting tool. Project window patterns across a background, break up an otherwise plain area with foliage or abstract textures, or create controlled graphical effects for product, portrait, fashion and commercial photography.

The holder provides a simple way to mount a compatible B-size gobo securely within the Spotlight Mount's dedicated gobo slot. The Spotlight Mount itself features separate slots for a gobo and optional iris, allowing both accessories to be used simultaneously when greater control over the projected light is required.

Key Features

  • Genuine Aputure accessory for the original Spotlight Mount
  • Designed to hold standard B-size gobos
  • Allows patterns, textures and graphical shapes to be projected into a scene
  • Ideal as a replacement or spare gobo holder
  • Quick and straightforward installation into the Spotlight Mount
  • Suitable for creative and precision light shaping
  • Useful for photography, filmmaking, video production and studio applications
  • Can be used alongside an optional iris within the Spotlight Mount system

For professional studio and location work, gobos provide an effective way of adding depth and interest without physically changing a set or background. A projected window, foliage pattern or abstract shape can quickly turn a plain wall or seamless background into part of the lighting design.

This makes the Aputure Gobo Holder particularly useful for portrait and fashion photography, interviews, commercial video, product photography, e-commerce content, music videos and creative studio productions.

Keeping additional holders available can also make it quicker to change between frequently used gobos during a busy shoot.
