As an 1000W colour-tunable point source fixture with a colour engine based on the breakthrough BLAIR chipset, a ProLock locking Bowens mount, and rugged profile, the STORM 1000c is a feature-packed versatile fixture suitable for a tremendous range of professional imaging applications from high-end film productions to small-crew video or photo shoots.

What’s special about BLAIR-CG?

The BLAIR-CG light engine (Blue/Lime/Amber/Indigo/Red/Cyan/Green), offers a colour spectrum greater than any other professional LED fixture available. For tunable white light, BLAIR-CG boasts an extended white light adjustment from 1,800K to 20,000K CCT with 100% +/- green control, the full ASC MITC range of adjustment. The new BLAIR-CG light engine is the best tunable colour light ever produced in an LED, delivering the greatest range and highest colour accuracy. It can reach 90% of Rec2020 colourspace, achieving saturated colours in shades previously unobtainable, such as accurate yellow. The calibrated indigo emitter enhances fluorescing materials, resulting in white light that better matches natural daylight and tungsten.

The inclusion of an indigo diode in this chipset enhances the colours of fluorescing materials, resulting in an image that is lit more accurately to match natural daylight and tungsten sources.

Featuring a massive CCT range from 1,800K to 20,000K and advanced white-point control with green-magenta colour correction (±G 100% ASC MITC range), this fixture offers the versatility and critical colour accuracy that professionals call for on set.

Equipped with advanced dimming technology, the STORM 1000c ensures flicker-free, colour-accurate operation during shooting even at its lowest output level of <19.8lux @1m (5,600K). In addition, this dimming technology provides users with an unprecedented 0.1-100% stepless brightness control.

Whether on a high-end film set or a small-crew video production, this versatile fixture delivers the power and precision required for any professional application. With its proprietary BLAIR-CG chipset, the STORM 1000c achieves exceptional brightness and vibrant colour mixing.

Offering 14,200 lux @3m (5600K) with the included 45º hyper reflector, it ensures maximum output while maintaining ultra-high colour accuracy. The advanced chipset utilizes diodes in Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, Cyan, and Green to enhance the light quality, providing a wider range of saturated colours and more effective utilization of each diode’s output.

With a CCT range from 1,800K to 20,000K, the STORM 1000c adapts seamlessly to any shooting environment, from candlelight to daylight scenes. The advanced white-point control with green-magenta colour correction (±G 100% Full ASC MITC range) ensures white-point accuracy across any lighting condition. 

The STORM 1000c is equipped with smooth 0.1-100% stepless dimming, delivering flicker-free performance even at minimal output levels of 24 lux @3m (5600K). Users can select between Max and Constant output modes, adapting to different production needs without compromising colour accuracy.

A newly developed ProLock locking accessory mount ensures modifiers stay securely attached and optically aligned, reducing the need for adjustments and optimizing the performance of optical modifiers like projector lenses and fresnels.

With multiple control options, including Sidus Link®, Sidus Link Pro, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net, sACN via etherCON, and 16-bit DMX512 compatibility, the STORM 1000c integrates effortlessly into any professional lighting workflow.

With IP65 weather resistance, the STORM 1000c is ready for any challenge, whether shooting indoors or in extreme weather conditions. Four fan modes (Smart, High, Medium, Silent) allow operators to tailor cooling performance to suit various environments without affecting noise levels on set.
