These are new Osram 650w / 230v modelling lamps that will fit older style heads such as the Broncolor Pulso F & Pulso G 1600 and 3200w/s heads.

They also fit all Elinchrom S2000, S3000, S4000, S3000N, and Digital SEE, SE and Digital S 4000 Heads.

The 650w modelling lamp will also fit Hensel EH Pro, Pro Mini, Pro Mini Speed, EH Pro 3000 and MH range of heads, Bowens 750 Pro, 750 Digital Gemini, 1500 Esprit and Bowens MonoGold. Broncolor Pulso P2/P4, F2/F4, G Lamp Bases and Hazylight Lamp Bases.

Brief overview 

A modelling lamp in a flash head is a continuous, low to mid power light source. This is usually a halogen type lamp for older style flash heads, or LED for new flash heads. The modelling lamp is typically located inside the flash tube, in the middle of the flash head, and allows photographers to preview lighting setups before shooting. 

It helps with pre-visualisation, light direction, shadow density, and potential reflections, and is essential for positioning lights and achieving accurate focus.
