About the Profoto Pro-D3
With a flash capacity of 1250 Ws and a recycling time as short as 0,01 sec, the Pro-D3 delivers frequency at speed for hours on end, making it optimal for high-volume shoots. At the same time, the three flash parameters resemble the flexibility of creative choice: for increased equipment lifetime and colour consistency, run it in default flash mode (ECO); when in need of a little more power, toggle to Boost mode; to eliminate motion blur, thrive off the shortest flash duration to this day in Freeze mode.
The Pro-D3 also features a very power-efficient LED-modeling light. It shines brighter than a 400-watt halogen lamp with only 15% of the power consumption. Beyond saving energy costs, this keeps light shapers cool and extends their lifetime. Additionally, the modeling light has a fixed daylight-balanced colour temperature and spreads light like a flash, which gives an authentic representation of the light in the final shot.
Choose between full flash power or accent light; the 11 f-stop range, fine-tuned with 0.1 f-stop precision, provides nuances. For seamless synchronization between devices, the Pro-D3 is equipped with Profoto’s latest user interface and AirX technology, which gives way to a hassle-free workflow.
Of course, being Profoto, the all-new Proto-D3 fits in with any and all of your existing Profoto eco system. The Zoom Rod Softbox Kit includes everything you need to create soft and hard light and everything in between. In this kit, you get a Zoom Rod S, an RFi Softbox 4’ Octa, and an RFi Speedring for Profoto so you can start creating right away.
The Profoto Zoom Rod S is the perfect tool for creative photographers that like to think outside the softbox. It lets you shape light with minimal effort and works for both flat fronts and protruded heads. The RFi Softbox Octa is the optimal softbox to use together with the Zoom Rod S. Attach the Zoom Rod S to the softbox and use it both with and without a diffuser to create the exact look you want. With a diffuser, you will gain a more even light source, removing the hotspot without losing power. Without a diffuser, it will increase the light output and generate specular reflections.
In addition, the Zoom Rod S is also compatible with all heat-resistant Profoto softboxes and the Profoto Soft Zoom Reflectors.

Featuring an all-in-one mount design, the Profoto Softbox Rectangular is incredibly easy to set up and with a quick fold/unfold solution. In addition, it provides adjustable softness and intensity of light through its removable and interchangeable diffuser. The recessed front evenly delivers a distribution of natural-looking light and as it is heat-resistant, it is even compatible with flashes using halogen as continuous light (up to 500W halogen).
With a range of accessories available, the Profoto Softbox Rectangular provides complete creative freedom for photographers seeking precise control over their lighting setups.
Note: When used with ProHead on power level 10 (2400Ws) together with continuous light (500W) on full effect, a maximum of 8 flashes per minute is recommended to prevent the speedring from getting too hot to touch.

Compatible with all 100mm light heads as well as Profoto A-series flashes using an OCF Adapter, so can be used with Pro-D3 750/1250 (as the Pro-D3 uses an LED modelling light). Heat-resistant for use with halogen lights (max 500W halogen, example B1X, B2 and the former B1, D1 500/D2 500)
