At first glance, the new Profoto L600D and L600C CoB LED fixtures might look like sleek and powerful ballast free Monoblocs, which, to be fair, they are.
But look a little closer and there is a lot more going on inside these compact 600W fixtures. They use liquid cooling
Yes, really.
The L600 range uses Profoto’s HydroCTech™ liquid cooling system, which helps manage heat inside a compact, all-in-one body. The L600C has over 300 built-in gels
This is the fun one.
The L600C gives you full-colour creative control and Profoto lists 300+ built-in gels as one of its key features.
That means you can move from clean white light to creative colour looks without rummaging through physical gels, clipping things to the front of fixtures, or trying to recreate the same colour later by memory.
For music videos, fashion, beauty, portraits, commercial sets and social-first content, that opens up a lot of creative possibilities very quickly.
