The Profoto D30 is the go-to light for the professional photographer. With a powerful 500 Ws flash capacity, and a 35w LED Modeling Light, this monolight is ready to tackle anything you throw at it, whether you're working in the studio or out on location.
What makes the D30 so special? It’s all about versatility. You’ve got an 11-f-stop range and three flash modes to choose from: ECO for when you need consistent color and want to extend your gear’s life, Boost for those moments when you need extra punch and Freeze to eliminate motion blur with the shortest flash duration.
Add to that the 35W bi-colored LED modeling light, enabling you to easily match any lighting environment.
The D30 is designed to be as mobile as you are. It’s lightweight and compact, yet sturdy enough to handle even the biggest light modifiers. And finally - it’s built to last. With user-changeable flash tubes, sync port and Profoto’s ECO-mode, you won’t have to worry about downtime. The D30 keeps you shooting.

The compact and lightweight design combined with excellent flash consistency and bi-colour modeling light makes the D30 a reliable monolight, capable of enabling a variety of photo sessions.
All from product and fashion to portraiture, in the studio or on location, choice speaks the loudest when it comes to the all new Profoto D30.
With a flash range of 11 f-stops, the D30 is an adaptable light, fit for every situation, as a main light or to illuminate a sliver of an object.
The D30 is easy to set up, and with its intuitive interface, you can start shooting immediately. The AirX connectivity allows you to have full control directly from the remote on the camera or from the Profoto apps.
There are three different flash modes to choose from; ECO for color consistency and increased equipment lifetime, Boost for a little extra power, and Freeze for the shortest flash duration and elimination motion blur.
The D30 comes with a bi-color LED modeling light. This bright and energy-efficient light has an adjustable color temperature and video-quality color rendering. It can be used as a continuous light in some situations when just a touch of light is needed, and thanks to the adjustable color temperature, it is easy to adapt it to the surrounding light.
The D30 is compatible with the wide range of Profoto 100 mm light modifiers, and thanks to its sturdy construction, even the largest light modifier can be used.
